High-Purity aluminum sulfate (99% Pure) from Aure Chemical – Your Trusted Source
Our High-purity aluminum sulfate (99% Pure) is a premium inorganic chemical compound with the molecular formula Al₂(SO₄)₃·18H₂O . The molecular weight is 666.43. This product is a white, lustrous crystal, granular, or powder.
It is obtained by purifying ordinary aluminum sulfate, which minimizes the content of metal ions such as calcium, magnesium, sodium, and iron. It is soluble in water and nearly insoluble in alcohol, with its aqueous solution being acidic. When heated at 85°C, it loses some crystal water and becomes a white powder. At 600°C, it is decomposed into aluminum trioxide. The CAS number for anhydrous aluminum sulfate is 10043-01-3.
